- Complex cases: 18 to 24+ months. Significant overbite, underbite, crossbite, or teeth that need large rotational or vertical movement.

What the Timeline Looks Like Week to Week
Step 1: The scan and treatment plan (1 to 2 weeks)
We start off with a digital scan of the inside of your mouth. That scan builds a 3D model of your teeth, and the software maps every planned movement. At this stage you can actually see a preview of your projected final smile and get an estimated number of aligners before you commit.
Step 2: Aligners arrive and you start wearing them (day 1)
Each aligner is worn for one to two weeks before you switch to the next in the series. Step 3: Active treatment and check-ins (months 1 to 18)
